Yanagawa Himawari Park consists of 5 hectares of reclaimed land facing the Ariake Sea and boasts of 500,000 large sunflowers blooming all over the area. The contrast of the vast yellow sunflowers to the blue horizon is definitely a must-see. Witness a different view from sundown to 9:00 PM when the flowers are lit up. The park is definitely a go-to place during summer in Yanagawa.
