The perfect event for the cherry blossom season, “Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival” is held every year from end of March to early April at the well-known Maizuru Park of Fukuoka City. The main castle tower as well as other parts of the castle ruins (Tamon Turret and Otakayashiki Ruins) are especially lit up during the night. Food stalls are also set up in the area. Enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms while having your fill of freshly-made food sold here.
