A local cuisine around Fukuoka City. "Motsu" means either a cow or a pig's offals. Motsunabe is a hot pot stew made of "motsu," cabbage, chives, and vegetables, and seasoned with chili pepper, miso and soy sauce. To sum it up, after eating all the "motsu" and vegetables and having some broth left over, you can eat it with noodles or rice to completely fill up your stomach. This local gourmet is a must-try if you come to Fukuoka.
