Kintai Bridge is 5-arch wooden bridge spanning across Nishiki River in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, and is one of the three famous bridges in Japan. It is 210 meters long and 5 meters wide, and its bridge abutment is 6.6 meters high. Iwakuni Castle can be seen on top of the mountain as you cross the rising and sloping arches of the bridge. It is particularly famous and draws in a lot of visitors for the beautiful natural scenery it provides across the seasons.

You can also take a bus to Kintai Bridge from JR Iwakuni Station. The ride takes around 20 minutes. Get off at "Kintai-bashi" stop.
