The only drawbridge that’s pedestrian-only in Japan, the 108-meter long Blue Wing Moji Bridge is located in Mojiko Retro District. The raising and lowering of the bridge when boats pass through is a must-see, with roughly 24 meters of the primary bridge and 14.4 meters of the secondary bridge rising to a 60-degree angle.
The beautiful scenery of Kanmon Strait and Kanmon Bridge can be seen from here. The bridge is also illuminated at night where its reflection is visible on the water surface, which also makes it a popular dating spot.
